2010 Community Garage Sale

The garage sale will be Thursday, Friday and Saturday June 17 - 19. We are still working out the details of how people can sign up so we can provide the City with a list of homes in connection with the $50 license we have to purchase (which covers the entire development). If you are planning on participating, please submit your name and address though the contact us form so we can include add you to the list presented to the City.

In addition, we can always use help in coordinating the garage sale, including keeping track of the participating residents and placing ads prior to the event. If you are able to help in that regard please let me know.

Corbett's Farm

A decision in the "Corbett Farm Rezoning Law Suit" (MSRK, LLC et al. vs. The City of Twinsburg) has finally been announced and we-the-people of Twinsburg have won!

A Summit County Clerk Courts employee told me the following: "The subject case was Dismissed with Prejudice and the costs are to be paid by the Plaintiff (MSRK LLC et al.). The Judge who heard the case was Judge Schneiderman, a visiting judge."

Others have told me that the Judge also said that two members of MSRK LLC are individuals who have considerable experience developing residential property in the City of Twinsburg and thus had extensive experience with the Twinsburg residential zoning codes. They knew everything about R-4 zoning long before they purchased the Corbett Farm property. Therefore MSRK was not surprised by nor did the City’s Zoning "illegally take from them".

Your Board Needs You

Consider volunteering for the board. Some of our current board members have been serving for a long time and a fresh rotation is best for all of us. Without adequate neighborhood volunteers the board may have to be outsourced to a management company which would result in a substantial increase in dues.
